Growing up in Hebden Bridge, UK, HUDSUN (Sam Hudson) began writing and performing in his early teens, scoring airplay on BBC Radio at age 17. 

 

Fusing rock, soul and electronic influences, HUDSUN has since performed at festivals across the UK including Kendal Calling and Neighbourhood Weekender as well as releasing records across a variety of projects. 

 

More recently, HUDSUN attracted attention from YouTube giants CloudKid, who signed singles ‘Shutdown’ and ‘Run’ which have received over 2 million views and streams across YouTube and Spotify combined. 

 

HUDSUN describes his music as ‘Being hit in the face with a box of stale cereal’. Others have likened him to Alt-rock outfits including Grandson, MGMT and Awolnation.

 

With support from BBC Introducing, Radio 1, Radio X and many others, his unique sound is quickly getting picked up and championed across the UK and beyond.
